The Bodega Royal activation turned AiaSound into a slice of Copenhagen authentic nightlife.
Together with Royal Beer we built a full-on bodega - a mirror of the city’s soul - where good talks start, flirts spark, laughter ignites and friendships accelerate.
An honest, unpolished hangout where time is easily forgotten and “a quick beer” becomes a whole evening.

To make it feel real, we went bodega-hopping across Copenhagen: studying smoke-stained wall art, neon signs, trophies, bar stools, lamps, table layouts and the local lingo.

All those details were translated into the festival build – from the bar set-up and décor to the music and staff styling – so guests stepped into a place that felt instantly familiar,
just with a Royal twist.

Once the atmosphere was set, we added a daily surprise: a Balkan brass band crashing the cosy vibe and turning the room into a moving, singing, chain-dancing street party.
What started as background bar chatter exploded into one of those “you had to be there” moments – the kind you talk about long after the festival ends (and that occasionally made people miss the concert they were actually on their way to).

Bodega Royal was the natural extension of a three-year partnership built on one simple truth:
